With the Sharks now celebrating their 25th anniversary, Hayward’s mask will forever be an icon for the franchise and all animal masks of the future.

The sides are now aiming for a Jan. 13 start date, with either a 52- or 56-game schedule, sources confirmed to ESPN. The sides have communicated daily since Thursday, and the hope is to finalize a plan by the end of the week. 1. Have they solved their goaltending issues?
Goaltending was an area that needed improving, so the Devils added two-time Stanley Cup champion Corey Crawford, who agreed to a two-year contract Oct. 9.

In the Sharks’ inaugural season, Hayward’s mask stole the stage for its bold and in-your-face paint job. “I have found it really helpful to have different masks for different activities and different levels of intensity,” said Ohlsen.

Some people prefer to exercise while wearing surgical masks. Dr. Anne Zink, Alaska’s Chief Medical Officer, likes to wear this type of mask while running outside and when she may be around other people on the trails. For light bike rides, hikes, and trips to the grocery store, Ohlsen wears double-layer cloth masks that are easy to wash in the laundry, using hot water and detergent. When she skis longer distances, Ohlsen wears a buff that she can fold over to provide a double layer of fabric over her mouth and nose. This still allows her to breathe during exertion. She chooses a neoprene mask when she’s skiing in below-zero temperatures.New Jersey Devils
