During maintenance the compressor must be stopped and the pressure inside the system must be released. Before carrying out the below mentioned maintenance, make sure to follow the safety regulations.
Maintenance of air filter
The air filter must be cleaned every 1000 hours. First to open rear cover, take out filter element, use wet cloth clean the inside of filter shell. Then use compressed air with 2 to 3 bar pressure to blow away down the dust from inside to outside. The air filter element must be replaced every 3000 hours.
Maintenance of air/oil separator
The air/oil separator element must be replaced every 3000 hours. When pressure gauge on vessel is reading 1 bar higher than the pressure indicated on the controller display, the oil separation element must be replaced:
1. Release pressure in vessel and piping.
2. Disassemble all pipes connecting to the cover of the vessel.
3. Disassemble the bolts which fix the cover of the vessel.
4. Remove the cover.
5. Take out oil separation element.
6. Clean the sealing surface that between cover and body of the vessel.
7. Install a new oil separation element with its sealing washer into the body of vessel, don not touch the body.
8. Assemble cover and bolts.
9. Assemble piping. The suction pipe should put into the bottom of oil separation element,otherwise, it may affect suction effect and increase oil carry over to the compressed air.
Maintenance of oil filter
The oil filter must be replaced in following conditions:
1. After the first 500 hours running hours.
2. Every 3000 hours.
3. Every time when the lubricant is replaced. When replacing the oil filter, first release the pressure in piping, then use a wrench to disassemble the old filter and washer. Clean the sealing surface, and put clean lubricant on the washer. Install the new filter firmly by hand, then tighten it by turning it another 180掳 to 270掳.
