Hi all ,
I am a divorcee. My husband left me when he found another woman in his life. I got the custody of my 2 kids, because I know that that lady wouldn’t look after my kids, and I want them in my life as a support system to keep me going. At present, I do not have a home to go, I am currently residing at my friends place, my parents are no longer in this world, and no much relatives to go to. I have some savings in my account, and with that I am planning to buy a new home, so that we do not have to worry about having a shelter, and then I am also looking for jobs, and I am sure, will get one soon. But, if I use up my whole savings for the new home, I will not be left with anything for daily expenses as of now. So , my friend suggested that, I could take a small mortgage, and with the help of that purchase a new home, and use the savings for other expense. But, as a first time home buyer and first mortgage as well, I do not know much about how the things work. I have been googling to know more, and found http://www.mortgagesmort...e-types/first-mortgage/. So, need your advice with many things. What type of mortgage would suit me best? Also, how to choose a mortgage broker? Things to be kept in mind?
