The laces, in departure, subtly bring in the collection's defining taste for blue as it subtly weaves it into its very fibers; elsewhere, matching cool tones find their place atop the heel's Nike Air tab, the performance-enhancing Eclipse Plate, and the Jumpman laid over the silver reflective tongue.
Much like its Valentine-filled counterpart, Singles' Day has quickly become an oft-referenced holiday in sneaker culture, many releases dedicated to the November date in both design and name. Jordan Brand, whose releases often span a large number of standouts, looks to be inviting the air jordan 32 low wheat along for the event as they dress it up in luxe, premium fabrications and some colorful embellishments. The upper, which appears ornate in its subtly-etched print, is wrapped at its base with a floral upholstery, the material made matted in its texture and threaded over top with a flowers of all different types. It features a Black nubuck upper with a reflective 3M tongue, Fire Red accents, Nike Air logo on the heels atop a translucent outsole. The sneaker was retro released in 2000, 2007, 2011, and 2016. The Air Jordan 5 "Grape" made its most recent return in 2013 (shown below), which was one of the original four colorways released in 1990, that also retro'd in 2006. The shoes were worn by Michael Jordan during a Wheaties box cover shoot and by Will Smith on the Fresh Prince of Bel-Air. It features a White leather upper with Black, New Emerald, and Grape accents atop a translucent outsole.
