The Converse Shoes For Men now a permanent model in the brand’s seasonal product lineup, has received an update just in time for the Spring/Summer 2020 season. The silhouette, originally a collaborative effort between Converse and JW Anderson, is now available in lavender “Moonshine Violet” and saturated “Total Orange.” Both colorways retain the signature high cut of the Run Star Hike, as well as the style’s star logo placement at the heel. The sneaker’s treaded gum outsole incorporates an additional pop of color: the heel portion of the spiky sole is rendered in orange on “Moonshine Violet” and pastel blue on “Total Orange.”


Launching on July 9th, the “Twisted Resort” set features two heights of the fan-favorite Converse Color Run Star Hike Citron Pulse/White/Black and a fashion-forward Run Star Hike. All three pairs are laden with desert tones and graphics depicting outskirts of the South West city: cacti, cows grazing, UFO abductions, and cowboy hat-donning aliens. The trail-inspired silhouette is clad in “Tender Yellow”, while the Chuck 70 Ox mostly indulges in a burnt orange/brown palette; its taller counterpart sets the stage for its extraterrestrial motifs in “Black”. Each “Twisted Resort” option also boasts a chakra diagram on the tongue and an “Egret” midsole.


Staying true to early iterations, the new New Release Converse Run Star Hike retains the shoe’s high cut, elevated midsole, treaded gum outsole and pull tab at the back. Its unique star placement at the heel will also stay put. While JW Anderson’s versions arrived in striking colorways including green and pink glitter, Converse will begin by releasing the shoe in classic black and white, with new shades to follow.
