My ex and I have been divorced for two years and my daughter is still struggling with the divorce. My 9 year old daughter (our only child) spends half the time with me and half the time with her dad. Her dad has a girlfriend which lives with her - and my daughter likes her - but he seems to have put the girlfriend as a priority to my daughter. They take many trips together (California, Paris, Ireland, Iceland) and none with my daughter. They're gamers and also spend a lot of time on their phones. More recently my daughter has been feeling neglected, she said to me that she doesn't understand why her dad travels so much without her and that they (the ex and girlfriend) spend a lot of time together on their phones (most recently playing pokemon go). I tell her that she needs to talk to her dad about it, but I don't think she is. She just continues to say how much she wants to live with me and the cat. Legally, I can't just take her, but I'm not sure what to do. Any advice would be appreciated.

You can talk to about this issue to your Ex to convince about your daughter's present situation. They may be allowed entirely to take care. Edited by user Monday, July 25, 2016 11:31:01 AM(UTC)
