Often a love it or hate it material for sneakers, denim drapes this latest version of the women’s Nike Air Huarache Utility. Yes indeed, the classic runner is the latest sneaker to get the blue jean makeover, dressed in two shades of blue denim across the upper that’s paired with the model’s signature neoprene bootie and rubber heel cradle. Premium touches include metal lace eyelets, a stamped Huarache logo patch on the tongue, waxed laces, and a gum outsole that finishes them off perfectly. Huarache and/or denim sneaker fans can find these at select Nike Sportswear retailers like Finish Line and Shoe Palace right now.

The Nike Cortez Ultra is one of Nike’s most heralded silhouettes. It further cemented its iconic lifestyle history thanks to its cameo in Forrest Gump and now Nike Sportswear is updating the 1972 creation with its latest technology. While we’ve seen Roshe crossovers in the past, Ultra Moire-inspired lightweight tooling on the outsole, and more, the Nike Cortez Flyknit is a creation unlike any other in the 40 years of the Cortez. The woven Flyknit material adds a new slip-on construction for a modern twist with a new EVA midsole cushioning platform with just the right amount of leather touches near the laces, on the heel, and supporting the toecap. Select retailers are already stocking the Cortez Flyknit overseas with a wider release slated for the near future.

The Nike Air Max 90 returns in a slimmed down profile with a revamped outsole unit inspired by the running classic Ultra Moire. Known as the Nike Air Max 90 Ultra, this pair is perfect for summer thanks to a lightweight ride complete with a ventilated mesh in the form of a unique herringbone pattern. The traditional panels of the AM90 are transformed through the use of fuse and tape technology to shed extra weight. The real highlight here is the colorway, as a “Digital Pink” accent lands on the midsole and outsole to liven up the dark upper. What do you think of the pair? Check out detailed shots below and be on the lookout for this Air Max 90 Ultra to arrive at retailers later this summer for $ USD.

In a year full of exciting advancements from Nike’s Air Max line – with the Nike VaporMax, the 30th anniversary of the Nike Air Max 1, the 20th anniversary of the Nike Air Max 97 – the Nike Air Max 90 has taken an understandable back seat to let those models shine. Luckily, the old standby will be returning in a number of new colorways for Fall 2017. After a preview of the “Rebel Skulls” colorway earlier this week, another mostly black pair is headed to select stores in the Nike Air Max 90 Ultra Essential formula. The slimmed down outsole features a lighter weight than normal while the Triple Black colorway is interrupted by a singular Mint Foam stripe to separate the mudguard from the rest of the model. The additional accents also have a glow in the dark option. The tongue features a matching shade to allow for the classic ‘Nike Air’ branding to shine. Check out more photos below and grab this pair on August 18th for $ USD.

It’s been quite some time since Nike Sportswear’s Nike Air Huarache Ultra retros finally brought back all of the OG 1991 goodness we deserved, but NSW is still finding ways to include the iconic Tinker Hatfield design in new and exciting ways. Take the Nike Huarache Ultra as the perfect example of old school elements blending flawlessly with a modernized fit and style. Today we get a look at two brand new colorways of the Nike Huarache Ultra Premium SE featuring a bolstered winterized upper, added ‘Tape’ on the toebox, and an updated back heel strap to maximize comfort. The Nike Air Huarache Ultra PRM SE is back in familiar “Triple Black” and “Triple White” options while flashy iridescent reflective elements hit the tongue for an added pop. Stay tuned for a release update in the near future right here on Sneaker News.
