I got divorced after 12 long years of marriage. We have 2 kids, 6 and 10. He doesn’t want the kids, so I have them, and I’m happy that I have them in my life at least. I’m a lecturer by profession, and I believe I am earning enough to take care of myself and my kids. Currently, I’m living with my parents, but I don’t want to burden their lives with my problems anymore. So, I’m thinking of moving out to a new home. But, I don’t have enough savings to purchase a new one. So, thinking of taking a mortgage and purchasing a home. I have never taken a mortgage , so not really sure about the different schemes which will be apt for me. I don’t want high monthly payments, and I’m ok with a long term repayment. But, wanted to know if there is any better scheme, need your advice and suggestions on this. Please help me with this, because this is very very important for me and my kids. Thanks!!
