My husband is verbal abusive, not every day but a lot of the time he calls me a bit*h, cu*t, stupid, retarded, idiot and other things.

He yells at the smallest things and I don't think I can take much more of this.

I am considering leaving but I am worried about the custody of my one and a half old little girl.

Has anyone gone through this is there any advice out there anyone could provide?

TIA.

That's really a bad situation. When does he use such words?? Some people use such bad words when they are drunk and some use them when they are stresses. Do you have any idea?? If your husband has drinking problem, then you can try to make him overcome that habit. If he is stressed, then you can try to find what is making him feel stressed. If he is tempered without any reason, then you can go ahead with your decision.

Aw..that's really sad. Is there any particular reason why he is calling you like this? If you can't adjust, I think it is good to move ahead with your decision.

I really feel sorry for what you were facing. Living with such a guy who does not have any respect to you ! It is horrible. As you have a kid, try to convince him that how much you feel bad when he makes such statements. If he has some genuine feelings, he will surely change his attitude. You can better seek for legal help. A friend of mine who is a domestic assault lawyer said that he will not have any loophole if you file a complaint. So stick to your decision . If he is such a problem maker, feel free to get support from legal sources. So that you can have some rights in your home. Pray that you will have a good life ahead.
