RETROSUPERFUTURE, otherwise known as SUPER, in collaboration with the Andy Warhol Foundation release their debut collection with classic silhouettes from the Italian eyewear maker. America, Classic, Ciccio and Drew frames are offered in simple metallic shades of grey. The inner side of the frames and temples are decorated with a collage of photobooth self-portraits of Warhol creating an overall aesthetic that is suggestive of film photography. The collection comes as no surprise: both, SUPER and Warhol, are praised for their rather avant garde works. Two more Warhol collections, based on notes and the other on original artwork, are soon to release.
